Sixta Robles passed peacefully at her residence in San Francisco on December 27, 2011
Sixta was preceded in death by her husband Toribio. She leaves behind her loving children Anatalia Reyes, Arturo (Tessie), Antonieta Mamayson, Rodolfo (Rosemarie), Toribio, Jr. (Natividad), Susan and survived two children Reynaldo and Rebecca.
Sixta adored fifteen grandchildren and several great-grand children and great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind and will forever be cherished by her sisters Lucia Awitan and Filomena Jamito and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A native of the Philippines Sixta was born on March 28, 1919 to her loving parents Felix and Valentina Laminaria. She spent a part of her life in Switzerland and traveled the surrounding countries in Europe as a tourist visiting many friends and family members there. Sixta came to the United States in the mid 1980's, finding her way to Philadelphia where she worked in a cafeteria preparing salads. She was soon known as the "Salad Lady" Upon retiring she returned to the Philippines for a few years, in 1995 she returned back to the United States, to be with her daughter Susan, in San Francisco, until her death.

She was brave in life and brave facing death. She loved her children and her family with all her heart.

She will be forever missed.
