Philip Ponsica Pasco passed away at age 56 on December 23, 2011 due to a massive cardiac arrest. He was a devoted, warmhearted, loving man with an infectious laugh armed with a voice that refused to keep quiet and a mind that came up with unique passwords true to his playful personality.

He was a generous man who was willing to give you the shirt off his back and all of his poker winnings. His presence was always felt as he walked into the room either by his smiling face and loud raspy hello's or the scent of his famous ox tail dish. He was an enthusiastic sports fan always eager to watch the San Francisco 49ers, Giants or the Golden State Warriors at all the family parties, but only if he was cleaned out early at the poker table. He was also a yearly participant in many of the Filipino basketball leagues around the Bay Area and he loved to go fishing.

He served in the United States Air force and received a commendation medal for his meritorious service as an aircraft mechanic in 1979. He went on to work for American Airlines where he recently received a certificate for 25 years of service.

As he leaves this life to rejoin his mother Soledad he is survived by his wife Cora, his father David, his children Philip Jr, Jocelyn Pasco Silva and Christopher, as well as his siblings Rosemarie, Sonia, Germa (Jo) and David Jr.

He was a true family man always wanting to be surrounded by the ones he loved and always eager to reach out to those that needed a good laugh or a helping hand which was ready and willing to carry someone else's burden. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
