Luz Aquino Rodriguez was born in the Philippines on September 16, 1914. In 1975, after the death of her beloved husband Conrado, who she's now joined in passing, Luz emigrated to the United States, living in the city of San Francisco until 1980, when she moved with her youngest daughter to South San Francisco.

Luz was a devout Catholic and was deeply devoted to her faith and to her large circle of family and friends. Known to all as "Mama Luz", she had 8 children, 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Mama Luz had a strong spirit and will be greatly missed by all her family and those whose lives she touched.
